Tuesday was French musician, Madeon’s birthday. And as a gift to us fans, on Wednesday, he announced that he has a new single coming out in June. The single, Gonna Be Good will be released on June 23rd.
Announced via Twitter and Instagram, Madeon shared a photo of himself and the album art. In classic Madeon fashion, it looks as if there is a secret language to decode, however, when you zoom in, you can see that there are actually (what is assumed to be) lyrics.
We’re gonna be good I’m gonna make a world to ourselves just ourselves…
Madeon also said in his post that this would truly be the end of an era. He’s presumably speaking about the Good Faith/Good Faith Forever era. Good Faith began four years ago with the release of All My Friends and it’s been quite the journey from there.
Man I don’t know what to say – I care about this song SO MUCH, I can’t believe it’s finally coming out, really the end of an era !
It’s exciting to hear what Madeon has in store for us next. Good Faith gave us such beautiful music, and really innovative shows. No matter what comes next, we can definitely guarantee that it’s Gonna Be Good……sorry I couldn’t help myself.
