Rising New York rockers Red Racecar assume pole position at The Delancey, joined by new drummer, Ava Mullen (of The Meeks fame), and a consortium of talented friends. Despite traffic stalling lead singer Keila Myles’ arrival, the show must go on for Moose Knuckles, who warmed up the crowd with an assortment of groovy basslines and passionate percussion, lending their signature style to Gnarls Barkley‘s “Crazy.” The Current followed up with a full-bodied, seven person assortment of sounds, led by their fearless leader, Meg Bres. Up-and-comers Club Aqua doused the stage with a rollicking handful of headbanging tracks. The night was capped off with the debut performance by cover band The Maples, whose lead singer, Julie Broadus, bears a voice that could genuinely fill a stadium.
