Telescreens @ Webster Hall, 11/19/24

The year isn’t fully over just yet, and the good ol’ lads from Telescreens are here to make sure that we enter 2025 with melted faces. Hot off the heels of their latest record, “7,” the NYC four-piece headline a snarling set at Webster Hall. Opener Skorts delivers hearty choruses and mic-sharing shout sessions aplenty. Kareem Rahma, the face behind the subterranean craze, Subway Takes, assembled his band, Tiny Gun, for a blazing set through their latest EP, No Worries If Not. Once the crowd was properly warmed up, Telescreens frotnman, Jackson Hamm, injected infectious energy through equal parts motivational speeches and opening the pit for concertgoers to mosh their worries away.
